Summer Camp at Valley Vista Hits Record Number, Mountain View Conference, Valley Vista Adventist Center

This summer, the staff at Valley Vista Adventist Center in Huttonsville, W.Va., welcomed children, aged 7–16, to Mountain View Conference’s “treasure in the hills.” The camp’s passionate and dedicated team is committed to creating a safe, fun and spiritually enriching environment for every camper, knowing that these experiences can make a difference in the lives of young people.

Through intentional effort and strategic planning, the staff at Parkersburg Academy (PA) in West Virginia has been dedicated to cultivating a more vibrant spiritual environment by introducing God and nurturing the relationship of each student with Jesus. It is noteworthy that 70 percent of PA's student body comes from families who are not affiliated with the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Three new families have recently joined the Mountain View Conference (MVC) team.

Jessica Lindao, a member of the Parkersburg (W.Va.) church, has recently accepted a call to serve as the administrative assistant in the MVC office. An answer to prayer, she comes equipped with many talents and skills that will help the office run smoothly. She is married to Juan Rugel, and they have one son, Alex Rugel (pictured above).
